Why We Are Different

Sports Performance Lab techniques work the muscles faster rather than traditional weight room regimen of working them slow as is done with heavy resistance. It makes no sense to train your muscles slow when every sport requires speed.The speed of muscular contraction diminishes as the load increases, which means that the heaviest is not the best for optimal athleticism for any level of athlete of any sport. The best athletes do not necessarily have the biggest muscles or lift the heaviest weights, but produce the greatest force, by utilizing high speed of muscle contraction, elastic energy and neuromuscular efficiency, coordination, rhythm and timing.
